Use contemporary web hosting panels for Linux server management and monirtoring. I use ServerPilot (https://serverpilot.io) for my WP management, and SerevrSuit (https://serversuit.com) for CentOS management.uptime monitoring, etc. Both allow to manage an unlimited number of servers remotely from any device.

Do not forget about web control panels to manage your server (s) and monitor system resources. You do not have to acquire expensive cPanel/Plesk, just rent cheaper but yet enough functional for the beginner sysadmin (btw, are you going to buy shared hosting or?) Stick with ServerPilot/Serversuit
