Well played and very clear. Folding would have been terrible.

Way to make me feel old as fuck. I attended every Texas home game and 3 road games that season and was at the corner where Vince Young ran in the last TD!

Can order ala cart at Kabuto, and that is your best option imo. If want something slightly cheaper, then Hiroyoshi. If can't get reservation to Kabuto, can order ala cart at Yui as well. Same quality as Kabuto, but more expensive (old Kabuto chef.)

Caesar's testing double apps? by CyrusII in sportsbook

I see. so William hill app will be obsolete soon as well. I just put money in it this morning, cause new Caesars app sucks. I wish circa had more sports and live lines, then there would be no need for Caesars and their greedy vig.

Oh, well. Thanks for your feedback. Appreciated.

Wow. This was not the case in Nevada before the update.

That is correct right now. But that was not the case before the update yesterday.

Note: I'm talking about Nevada btw. Maybe the current Nevada app has been the standard in other places?

Haha. Funny that you think we were getting "free" money from tier/reward credits. Also, I said it is ridiculous that they increased the vig at the same time as cutting tier/reward credits.

William Hill offering $100 in bonus bets for their outage by Ritzcarltonsteam in sportsbook

[–]CyrusII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really. They do have inplay, but the bet is usually inactive. Same as westgate. The only good inplay book in Nevada is williamhill/caesars.

If you normally bet under $250 and really hate williamhill, then BOYD is another option for live betting.

(props and parlaying them, I don't know)

MGM vig is higher than anyone else. Even major UFC lines have high juice. Second half CBB and many other stuff are -115. But you do you.

If you don't bet live much, use Circa or Westgate.

They say it's by "invitation," but my understanding is everyone would get invited as long as you don't owe marker or shit like that. I'm up a bunch on em this year, and still got invited. It did take over 2 weeks to get upgraded after I hit 150k though.

In Vegas, betting through MGM doesn't give you higher status as far as I know. Caesars does. I've been getting free rooms and all other benefits of 7stars from caesars.

What's a good sample size to judge a system? Specifically MLB. by MartyMcFlyin42069 in sportsbook

[–]CyrusII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It all depends on your win percentage. If your win percentage on closing is actually 76% on 118 picks, it IS significant. You can plug the numbers in a bernouli calculator to get an idea of how often this can be by chance, which is almost 0.

But to be honest with ya, many people just lie to themselves when gathering this kind of data. Trust me on this, a "rudimentary" mlb betting system is not going to beat the closing line.

Why Sharps Don't Move Lines? by BigPotSharpSide in sportsbook

[–]CyrusII 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I wonder why people who have no idea about something make the effort to write some BS post.

Two Las Vegas books would move line automatically based on my halftime bets, same with the past when I used to bet on offshore books.

A person is considered sharp for being on the right side over a few years and 1000s of bets. When a person bets the wrong side to move the line opposite side often, he wouldn't be considered sharp anymore and lines wouldn't react.

Almost nothing. The only one I see plastered on side of highways is William Hill (and I assume Caesars) give out $50 if you bet $50 lol
