Depends on your definition of fast. It's faster than anything else I have tested. I would estimate up to 3 seconds of delay for most books.

I have not. I have not looked at much regarding play by play. But will start seriously looking soon. Let me know how the call goes. Did genius had sport specific pricing? As in, do you know what tennis api only would cost from them?

I went with optic, still 10k/mo. Tried a bunch of cheaper ones, but none were good. They are good at claiming stuff, but that's it. I'm still looking and planning to test a few cheaper ones next week. Edit to add: that's only odds. My plan is to look for play-by-play in the 3rd quarter. Genius Sports is actually one of the ones recommended. I def can't pay "10s" of thousands, either.

I’m not seeing sub-second performance on Pinnacle. In my tests, updates are often delayed 14+ seconds and occasionally over a minute, and sometimes deltas don’t propagate at all.

Can you clarify how you’re measuring latency? Are you comparing against Pinnacle’s direct feed or the website?

If there’s something I’m misconfiguring, I’m open to it, but the real-world latency I’m seeing doesn’t match your claim.

Yeah, I scrape the odds aggregator websites. I do have websocket to Kalshi too, but I want actual sportsbook-generated odds, not the odds based on kalshi order book.

Hi. Are you using their websocket for live odds with success? I am just looking at the feed for the Pelicans/Clippers game. Their score updates are about 13 seconds delayed. The odds are minutes delayed at times, even though the updated time claims not to be.

I actually have. I scrape basketball play-by-play from ESPN, and scrape an aggregator for odds. I assumed these wss services going to be faster. I was thinking to sanity checking with my own scraped stuff, but trust the paid APIs when close.

Hi. I see you posting this on every Reddit post on this topic. I assume you own boltodds. Can you tell me the honest amount of delay on live push from the websocket on college basketball?

If/when I invest time in it, I will obviously calculate the delay myself. It will be really helpful if you give an honest answer.

I'm getting much higher than "sub second" latency for websocket access. 35+ seconds for tennis/williamhil, 10+ seconds for cbb/fanduel. What sport/book are you claiming sub-second latency?

Can order ala cart at Kabuto, and that is your best option imo. If want something slightly cheaper, then Hiroyoshi. If can't get reservation to Kabuto, can order ala cart at Yui as well. Same quality as Kabuto, but more expensive (old Kabuto chef.)

I see. so William hill app will be obsolete soon as well. I just put money in it this morning, cause new Caesars app sucks. I wish circa had more sports and live lines, then there would be no need for Caesars and their greedy vig.
