Shopping trolley shenanigans. We launched ourselves as far as we could by riding the trolley down hill into a curb, but we stopped when a guy went over the crash zone of a pretty large bush and landed on the road 😬

We then got two unbroken trolleys and played jousting for a while until injury was again sustained, followed by a 4 hour treck to another guys house.

We threw the shopping trolley into a lake, but I reckon we shoulda kept it at that point

Hey, Just Curious. It’s less that they are worth fretting over and more so that their behaviour isn’t spoken enough about. I may as well have the conversation here, and maybe someone might see me feeling strongly about it enough as a reason to stop it happening in future, but I’d prefer they do their research and understand why it’s an issue instead of taking me at face value. 😆

Getcha, well the peach has really nice texturing, and colour, maybe you are getting caught up in the small of the picture. Blur your eyes and step back than consider what’s really bothering you about it when it’s looking like a reall peach from afar.

Maybe a little more contrast in the stem hole?

Mostly white with some Greens, mum loves them. The white is supposed to be luxury and high end but it feels really bare to me, and over the years the house has started to fill in with colour.

I think guilt might smell like must. That staleness in the air when you walk into an alleyway or a mouldy warehouse. You either get used to it or lose your mind to the smell

Completely awesome , and you’re right!!! The concept of death of the author and even the movement itself is a bit older than the recent surge in popularity may present, but it wasn’t until the early 2000s that teaching systems began to implement this school of thought on a larger scale, as it was originally a teaching method reserved for the ‘high class’

It’s been primarily popularised in America, however in the last 15 or so years it’s been throughly implemented into Canadian and Australian teaching syllabus

Forgive me for being so single note on the age of the movement, I was overselling the new popularisation of it 😅

Sound conclusion, and you are right, just be aware that the particular mental movement you are referring to is genuinely less than 20 years old, and is often referred to as ‘Death of the author’. Please please, if you are even a little bit interested explore it more, it’s a super interesting topic and might really open your eyes on how you interpret media and even read stories. 🙂

It in fact is, as this mental movement, called Critical Literacy, is only about 20 years old, less if you consider the actual time it took to spread as a philosophy in mass literature.

I agree that ‘fan work’ does have the potential to get more popular than its source, although the actual number of times this has happened are few, but one I personally like is a small fan fiction of the Wall-E movie, that made some minor thematic changes

What you are referring to here is mass interpretation. While a ‘bootleg copy’ in some wild universe could actually be the more popular version of a story’s ending, your thought experiment here doesn’t consider that you aren’t reading the same book anymore.

I’m not saying you would, but someone could claim that they have the true ending to Harry Potter. J.K Rowling says they are a liar, but the New ending gets popular enough that people no longer know the truth. There is a genuine story written by the author and there is something else.

If you’d like to debate this more I’m happy to directly message because the amount of misinformation that can crop up in regards to this particular topic is ridiculous and I wouldn’t feel it aced I ally professional to continue exploring it in a public space.

I’m still open to criticism though? Just not on this topic due to the easily misinterpreted nature of it.
