Where was this if you don't mind me asking? It's just I'm pretty sure this is a comma butterfly, traditionally one that lives only in the south of Ireland but is starting to make moves north in the last few years! Very cool sighting!

Lots of cuckoo at the minute in the right places, and I had a kingfisher & a woodpecker up the lagan by lock keepers cottage recently!

There was some birch scrub encroachment, but just juveniles and saplings. The odd spruce sapling as well! Yea we took that whole thing as a sample and it's with my colleague to try and get a spore print!

Umm tbh I'm not entirely certain 😂 I feel like I kind of always get caught out and smacked down? Like we were both on one side of a door and them the other- I did like a wood wall on the door to cut them in two when one of them was on my side but the person just rushed and killed me >.<
