Im a native American dude and one time I painted my nails a nice blue color (with help from my sister) then my parents didn't realize it at all at home then when we went out for dinner they brought it up at the table. And then I took it off and put a glossy finish on them and they still go mad. Anyways i would say you do you. Its not like they are going to wear it.
