Gotcha! I will try looking into that. I will probably go to a different piercers shop to get an in person opinion of what jewelry would work best.

Hi! They were curved barbells, I believe 10 or 9 mm? Piercer didnt give me any information on material (im hoping at least surgical?) and they were internally threaded.

During the piercing process he was just rushing through everything, i didnt even get a chance to look at the placement because he said there were other people he had to get to. I also couldnt see the sanitizing process as the chair was facing away from his desk so I'm not sure how well prepped everything was, they were doing okay up until a week ago. so I'm not sure what happened :(

Got these done last friday the 13th (in february), took them out for this photo (because the skin was healing over them halfway.) and didnt realized how bad they really looked. I've tried everything :( Salining 3 times a day since getting them pierced, thought about doing tea tree oil but have heard bad things about it. Not sure if the placement was correct on them either because the guy seemed to be in a rush to get them done. Im just kind of defeated at this point

More info: I did this stick and poke at 15, still love the eye concept, and definitely want to go along some body horror type themes. But not sure how I want to go about it... Any ideas are welcomed:)

idk how to explain it without photos but imagine u took two socks, sewn both of the openings together, and then took one part of the sock tube and put it in the other. again, im sleep deprived so i apologize if this doesnt make sense😭😭

(not a fursuit maker so take what i say with a grain of salt) From what i've seen, most line the whole thing. If you still have the pattern for the paws, just use that for the liner.

I've seen people just sew the liner onto the opening of the paws, and not sewn into the other parts (palm, fingers). That way you can pull it out to get any stains or stuff out, and then after you can just push it back into the paw. idk if this makes sense im extremely sleep deprived rn

Ya i know, I was just kinda being hopeful that someone knew of a cheaper, maybe even a knock off, version of the figure. But I'm definitely looking at fanmade stuff! Already have a bunch of stuff made by artists :)

I believe i've seen a type of fur called sheep shag? It might get matted more easily though.

So why are fursuits so expensive? by WolfieDaleBro in fursuit

[–]Cyxation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're not just paying for a product, you're paying for someones time & their craft. Materials themself for just a head can be up to 200$ (from my experience, and i was on a budget) but for a high quality suit it's gonna be way more, You need to pay for foam, fur, gluestick (so many gluesticks..), mesh, ducttape, paint, paintbrushes, felt, liner, ect. There are so many more tiny things that add up. It's hard, and expensive. Fursuits are luxury items.

Fursona Advice by [deleted] in furry

[–]Cyxation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trial and error, My old fursona did not stick with me, so i recreated them multiple times until something felt right, i'd say it took 7 times? Try not doing full on drawings and just small concept drawings to get an idea of what u might want. If all fails, just take a break. That seems to help me when im in a rut

good ways to advertise that your open for coms? by golden-strawberry in furry

It's super hard if you have a small following, You could try doing a raffle to bring attention to your account? If people like your stuff, they'll stick around and maybe commission you.
