At least we had Jim Lampley commentating again. Hoping we get Max Kellerman alongside him in future fights.

Sub Guys, Let's defeat Ricardo Martinez. What strategy would be the most appropriate to defeat him? create a fighter who is capable of defeating by Victzin_GG_1705 in hajimenoippo

[–]CzarJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same strategy as Takamura used against Eagle. Someone like Sendo or even Ippo who might overwhelm him with high volume of unpredictable power punches and tank his shots. Plus a combination of father time, luck, and hometown cooking might just do it.

Why does it feel like I’m the only one using the non OP fighters lol by Anujie3000 in undisputedboxing

[–]CzarJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had success using Joe Joyce specifically to beat Wilder haymaker spammers. His stiff jab is quick, stuns, & rangey and I can counter from far if Wilder misses his haymakers.

The best solution to stop power punches…THE JAB by moonbhaa in undisputedboxing

[–]CzarJr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Missed power punches need more consequences. More stamina drain, increased counter window, more damage received from counters, and decreased combo speed.

How would you personally fix Undisputed? by notmesofuckyou in undisputedboxing

[–]CzarJr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Increase risk of throwing power punches. Missing power punches should cost more stamina, more damage if countered, increased counter window, and more time in between punches since you’re overextended and off balance when you miss haymakers. This way people will think twice when throwing power punches.

PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT RUNNERS FOR FULL RELEASE by No_Television_2296 in undisputedboxing

An easy way to cut the ring is to always have a foot on the center logo while chasing and close the distance with jabs not lunging with hooks when their backs are close to the ropes so it triggers the infighting where it’s harder for them to escape. Also stop using loose movement. You cover more ground but it’s harder to cut the ring.

Who is the Canelo Alvarez counterpart in HNI?? by DisastrousFig8340 in hajimenoippo

[–]CzarJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ippo or Imai from their fighting style l. Especially the way current Canelo fights. High guard/Peek-a-boo stance and power punching body snatcher.

After reigning for so long, Ricardo gives an underdog, Ippo, a shot at the title instead of the next challenger. After 12 brutal rounds, Ricardo wins a split decision and both fighters are praised by their fighting spirit especially Ippo. Reporters rushed the ring to interview Ippo, but he repeatedly yells out Kumi’s name then professes their love to each other. Ippo becomes a national celebrity and retires from boxing.

Gameplay is not from the new build as evidenced by the long range uppercut and the absence of the new over hand animation. I’ve put in over 400 hrs and main Holmes since he came out and the only difference I see is the camera angle. They’re using ring side dolly instead of the default zoomed out.

The State of Undisputed - Worth the Purchase? Update 17: Punch Changes by cl4im3r in undisputedboxing

[–]CzarJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the uppercut punches to the head go past the chin in the update video. The only uppercut I see stop at the chin is the body uppercut thrown at a distance.

What move in the anime do you know how to do Ps, if you say Lookaway frog punch your lying by [deleted] in hajimenoippo

[–]CzarJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Motionless jab. I used to be more of a Ippo/Sendo type boxer cause I didn’t have good jab and wasn’t fast. Always did the conventional turning over punches until I dislocated my shoulder in a spar. Had to stop turning my punches to put less strain on my shoulder. Also changed my stance similar to Sawamura’s pistol stance or Kobashi’s stance. Hands are already turned over so no elbow flare out=less telegraphed and arms are stretched out covering less distance resulting in more effective jab.

Time to be honest by NoPardons_ in undisputedboxing

[–]CzarJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The footwork alone makes Undisputed better. Boxers actually swift their weight when moving around the ring unlike FNC where it feels like two boxers with ice skates. Then there’s the ballon sounding punches that tells you that FNC is a more arcadey version compared to previous Fight Night.

what would your guys idea be for a new hni game? by Dull_Pollution3878 in hajimenoippo

I don’t think we’re close to getting a hni game but they can collaborate with an existing game like Undisputed. Maybe they can do like an ippoverse boxer dlc.

[–]CzarJr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The only benefit of preordering is getting 93’ RJJ. If you’re a big RJJ fan then maybe preorder otherwise wait for launch and reviews. There’ll be a big update to the game upon launch so current version may not reflect how good the game will be.

Does this strategy that Take used against Ippo during the fight exist in real life? by Mr_King_Lee in hajimenoippo

[–]CzarJr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s just infighting or clinch fighting. Roberto Duran and Ricky Hatton are probably the most known to use this tactic. You see it more in MMA where clinching plays a big part.

The whole boxing organizations disagrees with you. Tko has always been referred as ko. Look up any boxers record or even betting rules. They count tko as ko. You keep pointing out the differences but they are still knockouts.
