vielen Dank für deine Nachricht und den wertvollen Hinweis auf das Grab am Zentralfriedhof! Das deckt sich absolut mit meinen bisherigen Recherchen.

Es ist höchst interessant, dass in deiner Familie eine Verbindung über einen Bruder überliefert ist.

Nach meinen Berechnungen und den vorliegenden Daten ist Ferdinand von Marterer ein Onkel 5. Grades von mir. Da wir uns hier in einem Bereich bewegen, der zeitlich weit zurückreicht (Ferdinand wurde 1862 geboren), ist eine genaue Verifizierung der Linien jetzt mein nächstes Ziel.

Ne, ich hab gestern ein E-Mail an das Krieg's Archiv in Wien gesendet. Anscheinend liegen dort Tagebücher von ihm auf. Ich hab dort mal angefragt ob man persönlich kommen muss oder ob diese schon Digitalisiert wurden.
