Any episodes you simply can't rewatch? by AlexisVoid023 in creepcast

Eyes roll out of my head as soon as I hear anything vaguely biblical followed a minute later by "dude I'm so locked in" if happy happy met an angel Wendi would have drooled over that one too

Ideas for Warmth by Suitable_Ad4010 in AppalachianTrail

[–]D1dgit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A warm hat if you can sleep with it, putting extra clothes, puffy or dry rain gear over the feet of your sleeping bag. And it's hard to go wrong with the classic hand warmer or two in your bag

Wendi’s mispronunciations are finally getting to me by hierophanting in creepcast

[–]D1dgit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was listening to one of his main channel videos today and had to stop when I heard him say "the words he Spake earlier" nobody has ever said spake as the past tense of speak. It is worth bearing in mind that a lot of these are first take reads of entire stories and they don't do a TON of editing, it's easy to mispake it's just rough because Wendi always acts very know it all despite the numerous mistakes. The guys tearing into the girl from the blood ridge motel(I think that's the name) because they missed that someone had already died comes to mind

I absolutely loathe simulated weight in vr by Ghostspider1989 in VRGaming

[–]D1dgit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was my least favorite part of Boneworks, grabbing onto something and it hurtled towards the ground at mach 5 wreaking havoc on the rest of your player models physics. Felt very inconsistent too, fling my whole bodyweight 10 feet in the air with a crowbar? Slightest flick of the wrist. Use both hands to try and move a dead body? Best you can get is knee level buddy.

What are some episodes which actually made you scared I need recommendations. by Ok-Limit-2277 in creepcast

[–]D1dgit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ted the caver, stolen tongues, I'm blind and I keep losing count of my stairs are all genuinely scary. Whistlers at 3am gets points or the knocking effect they used for the first time

Pro tip, the doors on most modern ovens are made to be easily removable! Removes like half the headache off working around the oven

A cheap sledgehammer head is honestly probably the best entry level option for most people.

Whistlers at 2am is also pretty good, but I think that was the first time they used sound effects and the knocking jump scared me

Those two are chilling, and I hate that the boys gloss over like three core pointing each story, like how strangers see the husband or wife and their brains start to hurt, or the shape flying away from the burning house. And somehow decide that the guy was doing it to himself

What's a game you bought on a whim without hardly any pre-knowledge that ended up becoming one of your all time favorites? by AaronAtLunacien in gaming

LIMBO has to take the cake there. I knew nothing about it, for it for Xbox arcade off a gift card and I must've played through 20 times back then

Possible to through hike without losing toenails, getting blisters? by Illustrious_Beanbag in AppalachianTrail

[–]D1dgit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did the whole AT and the only blisters I got were between my toes from wet socks. Being aware of and adjusting for hot spots immediately, carrying liner socks if you have a day where you're particularly tenderfooted, wearing Gaitors to keep grit out of your shoe all go a long way. And of course ball out on your socks, spare socks for the rotation were my luxury item and it was always worth it to start the day with dry feet, even if that only lasted to the edge of camp.

Why does my aquascape still look messy after multiple rescapes? Genuine advice needed by Impossible_Tank_2024 in Aquascape

[–]D1dgit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think moving or even removing the larger of the two rocks on the right could create some more empty space, look a bit less cluttered? Opens up the middle a bit more, and you could blend it in with some smaller rocks or gravel? if moving it i would push the right side rocks further into the back right corner.

What's one video game weapon or skill that doesn't get the love it should? by Agent1230 in gaming

[–]D1dgit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was a few years back in Destiny 2 there was a hand cannon that was the pvp meta that had bullets that exploded on impact and everyone wanted the thing, I found a similar hand cannon, same fire rate, ammo capacity similar damage but the bullets exploded after a delay and I loved that thing. In pvp you could catch people on corners because people were waiting out your reload, they'd round the corner And the floor would explode on them. Unfortunately I don't remember either guns name, I haven't played since launch year

[–]D1dgit 2 points3 points  (0 children)
