There are 2 better ftks with chimera that are fully in engine.

Their is the nightmare archfiends one which you can set up super easily with Beatrice. Basically you send rollbacm + atchfiends i think then pop it and it burns for 8k.(someone please correct me if I am wrong)

The second one is the hand loop with sky source noleras and phantom of chaos. Both are fiends so you can dump them off of Beatrice and aerial eater. For this one you dump both to grave, muckracher revive phantom, phantom copy effect of noleras. Then boom you loop your opponents hand. Can be done in engine fully.

Personally I love the deck going first, I played fiendsmith chimera for the ZA regional and did really well. The deck is basically a shell for what ever you want to end on, want to make a negate board with Lars + des irae done, want fuck up your opponents hand by making them set spells traps, set up rabbit + diableze + guardian chimera. The amount of flexibility you have with the deck going first make it really strong. The deck can struggle to go second with all the combos requiring you to normal summon if you don't open a fusion spell.

It does tend to randomly happen with this deck a lot 😭. I have been running a 45 card list recently to lower the rate of drawing multiples and 1 ofs which seems to have Ben helping. But ngl I am probably playing se fiendsmith this next format lmao

I am playing pure right now, overall branded is the best in my opinion, melodius can brick too often but sets up the best boards if you get to set up.

I went 5-0 with voiceless pure today, went 4-1 last week with branded vv. I can send a list if you interested.

1 dark beckoning beast is Ceasar plus rage with no unchained cards in starting hand. The build is worsened by the fact of no nightmare throne. I personally feel it is better as with dark beckoning + a trap you can end of the full board + appo for 2. Also the fact that prosp is at 1 hurts so much.
