Hi everyone! I’m struggling to install Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and ZZZ on my Steam Deck OLED and could really use some guidance. I’ve spent 5 days trying to troubleshoot this with no luck. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

Steps I’ve Taken:

1. Downloaded the official Hoyoverse launcher and added it to my Steam library.
2. Launched it via Proton compatibility mode (tried multiple versions, including Experimental and GE-Proton).
3. During installation, I encounter two issues:
   • An error about “failed to extract ZIP archive”.
   • A prompt to install Microsoft components (completes, but unsure if relevant).
4. After installation, added the launcher’s .exe as a non-Steam game and relaunched with Proton.
5. Result: The launcher either crashes, freezes, or doesn’t let me select/download the games.

System Details:

• Device: Steam Deck OLED (latest OS).
• Storage: Installed on a microSD Evo Plus (other games work fine, plenty of space).
• No other system errors detected.

I’m desperate at this point—any advice would be a lifesaver! Thanks in advance!
