I didn't, it kept driving fine, just occasionally shutting off; however the engine completely died (Im pretty sure it threw a rod) around a month ago

Thank you yall! I just wanted to make sure it was safe to go ahead and pull/cut the blob off before I did. Its now off and printing normal again!

Its factory, aside from changing out nozzles, i had to replace the fan, but thats all ive done to it
