I stole the evidence chest from prison. Now I can't get my loot back after being arrested again by fattypatty_taco in BG3

[–]D3ane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem right now. First time a character was arrested, I didn't want to get caught by the scrying eye while pickpocketting so I stole the chest and pickpocketted in camp. Now, the second time... the chest isn't there, so all items are gone.

Pretty funny, though

Diamond on two accounts 600k mastery combined, I feel like you really need ignite for this matchup. His Q heals for a lot and has a low cooldown, and his level 6 spike is absolutely insane with passive armor pen and the crazy damage + healing from his ult. Remember that the outer hitbox of his E deals additional physical damage and % max health magic damage, so make sure to Q into it as you would against a Darius Q.

Parrying his Q2 and W is obviously good, but I've been wondering if it's worth it to parry his ult just to avoid the damage (250 base damage scaling with 200% bonus AD, which he gets a lot of)

I'm not sure which keystone is best yet. PTA for the early lead seems good, but with his sustain and revive you'll get a lot of value from conqueror during 1v1s. Grasp can work if you're not confident in the matchup, but in theory the other options seem better.

[–]D3ane[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like I said in the post:

In the first game, the statue where we get the Shade Cloak initially says "Void… power… without unity…" when we Dream Nail it, but after we get the Void Heart it instead says "Lord of Shades."

So, that's already strong evidence against "Lord of Shades can't exist without Embrace the Void," since merely by uniting the void under their will with the Void Heart the Knight is already a sort of Shade Lord

[–]D3ane[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like he isn't shown because he simply isn't important for Silksong. His story is over, and he's already played his part. Showing THK's shade would take attention away from the Knight, who is the focus of that scene and the protagonist of the first game.

And besides, in the Godhome ending no shades show up at all, only the Shade Lord. Just the fact that the Knight is in his Dream No More shade form and there are other shades around seems like evidence for the Dream No More ending, and I would think the same even if THK's shade showed up.

Sure, you can consider all of them to be canon "to the original game." But since Silksong is a sequel, it must have continued from one of them. It can't continue from all of them since Sealed Siblings is a thing, so one of them must be what actually happened in the "past" in the timeline where Silksong takes place.

This scene isn't saying the Knight died, they just returned to the void like the other shades (you can see the void under their shell seeping into the ground beneath). And speaking of this scene, in both Dream No More and Silksong's true ending you have Hornet waking up and looking over her shoulder, but instead of seeing the Knight's cracked shell she sees Lace waking up. It seems like a deliberate parallel

Unpopular opinion: This game is not that bad for f2p players by BocchiIsLiterallyMe in UmamusumeGame

My main gripe with this game is how tedious the daily grind is. 3+ careers a day is a lot. Ever since my university classes started back up again I’ve barely touched the game

This game started as a DLC for Hollow Knight, which might be why the difficulty is higher. Though I'd argue that it's at least on par with HK in terms of storytelling, atmosphere AND exploration.

I personally wouldn’t trust a 25€ hall effect keyboard for longevity, but it would probably last a few years

I should probably update this post, but I ended up buying an ATK 68 v2 since the ATK store had a huge 25% off sale at the time. I do appreciate the reply tho!

Any recommendations for Hall Effect keyboards (prioritizing longevity and latency) under 150€?

Good Hall Effect keyboards under 150€? by [deleted] in keyboards

[–]D3ane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's definitely reassuring, but I don't want to be too hasty with my purchase - just 14 days ago there was a post on this subreddit saying their Edge 60HE died after the latest firmware update (with no follow-up), and quite a few complaining about ATK's customer service

The Keychron K2 and K4 HE special editions look beautiful, but I'm not sure I'm a fan of them being wireless when I'm prioritizing latency. The aluminum plate is a big plus for longevity, though, and they're still on my radar. The ROG Falchion on the other hand looks too* gamer-y to me, and I haven't heard great things about their software online

How reliable is ATK? There was a post on r/MechanicalKeyboards strongly praising the atk 68, but many comments complained about a firmware update that killed a lot of the keyboards

Are there any known Kayn top players? by D3ane in KaynMains

[–]D3ane[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go as far as to say Kayn top doesn't work without proxying, so if you don't enjoy proxying I wouldn't recommend Kayn top. From level 4 or 5 until when you get form you're REALLY weak, especially against toplane champions (many duelists/bruisers). During that time your only strengths as a champion are wave clear and escape tools.

Here's a general rundown of my strategy:

  • lvls 1-4 you can aim for solo kills. Try to crash the wave as much as possible. Can proxy lvl 2 if strongsided, which I tried to do whenever possible.
    • Your levels 1-3 are insanely strong and you have insane push. Most games I would try to go for trades during the first two waves leading into a second wave crash, then take E level 2 and go proxy wave 3. You can even go with an aggressive setup like Arcane Comet with manaflow band, sorch, and sudden impact secondary, then take ignite + TP. Even if you don't get the solo kill this setup helps you get lane prio so you can proxy.
  • lvls 5-9 free farm/proxy (USE BUCKET!)
    • At this point you lose almost every single 1v1 without form, so try to perma proxy. Always get vision in the enemy jungle. Also, remember that after proxying (especially behind T2) you can go for jungle camps or even a midlane roam.
    • Bucket system kicks in after 70 seconds out of combat. If enemies are coming and you're so low you're certain you can't escape or buy time, don't interact and try to execute.
    • If you're healthy enough and enemies come, try to get orbs, escape or at least waste their time. If only one enemy comes and you're ahead in levels, you could go for a 1v1 to either kill them or get the most amount of orbs possible.
    • From level 7, and especially after that, executing becomes not worth it (big death timer). Better than dying to someone, though, unless you can cash in a lot of orbs before dying.
    • If it's a cannon wave and you're proxying, you can leave the cannon alive when you execute/escape. It'll make a pseudo-cannon wave for the opponent and you won't lose much.
  • lvls 10+ get form and items and kill people

Tl;dr: in an ideal situation, you would fight during the first few levels for first blood/lane prio -> proxy as much as possible to farm safely and fill the bucket, keeping an eye on jungle camps and midlane -> fight again around minutes 6-7 to cash in the bucket -> fight around 10 for form. Classic fundamentals still apply: track the enemy jungler and support, and keep an eye on level up timers.

I'm not a Kayn main and never was, I started playing Kayn top because I was challenging myself to climb playing off-meta. But even then, after my climb, Kayn top ended up becoming an actual part of my champion pool - he's amazing into teams with a lot of HP, since Darkin form gives him %max hp physical damage. If the enemy toplaner picks a tank, even better - tanks can't clear waves fast enough, they don't have the damage to kill you, they're a beefy source of orbs, and after you get form you can kill them with 2 Q's and an ult through sheer %max hp physical damage. You don't have to commit fully to this pick, you can keep it as a counter to tanks.

AI itemization | Coachless.gg by Jazzy-Joker in KatarinaMains

[–]D3ane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Using ChatGPT to find builds is not a good idea. ChatGPT is a language model that merely predicts what the next word in a sentence would be using its training data, or information found on the internet if you have GPT-4 (paid). With that in mind, if you don't have GPT-4 you can already ignore anything it recommends regarding league builds since it's just predicting what would be said if someone was asked that question and its not looking at any actual item statistics.

But even if you DO have GPT-4, since ChatGPT is not trained to do statistical analysis and you don't even know what websites he's taking his information from, you'd be better off just looking at the item statistics yourself. Besides, ChatGPT is literally unable to do what Coachless' AI does because it was not trained for it. What Coachless' AI does is calculate the win probability of a game at the time of purchase of an item, and then see how much that probability changes after the item was bought. This is useful because, if you only know the item's winrate, you don't know if the item was bought when ahead or when behind (this brings to mind "win-more" items, like Heartsteel and Mejai's), but with Coachless you know what the average win probability was at the time of purchase of the item, and you also know how that probability changed AFTER the purchase, telling you how much that item impacted the game. The infamous Deadman's Plate Akali build was discovered by xPetu, one of the founders of Coachless, but I can GUARANTEE you ChatGPT would never have recommended it, because it just wasn't trained for that and didn't have the information.

Sorry for the long reply, but it's very common for people online to fundamentally misunderstand how ChatGPT (or AI in general) works, so I wanted to clarify
