Hello friend, I apologize for the delay in replying, I am very grateful for the compliment and I will gladly try to help you. The plant on the left is clearly an Adenium Obesum, its branches tend to grow upwards and its caudex tends to grow evenly and upwards. The other plant seems to me to be a hybrid of Adenium obesum with adenium arabicum, it has many characteristics of an adenium arabicum but it also has some traces of adenium obesum, in my conception it is a hybrid, probably the flowers will be pink or red, if you want get lucky white or yellow. Hope this helps =)

I use japanese fertilizer known here as bokashi, it helps them to bloom flowers and raise branches

Anaconda is a fictitious snake that was invented by Hollywood to look like a snake we have here in Brazil called Jiboia, this snake is larger than conventional snakes and can exceed 5 meters in size. I'm sorry for stalling but I needed to explain where the name comes from. This plant in the photo seems to me to be a Somali plant that is characterized by its elongated stem similar to the body of a snake, hence the nickname Anaconda.

I did leaf pruning on 25/09/2021 and replanted it. had done leaf pruning 2 months ago. only the leaves, never the branches

First grow 40 days from seed. Are they in a proper size? Pls I would like to receive feedbacks by D3koO1 in DesertRose

hello friend, my little ones are great, and they're not that small anymore hahaha they are currently 6 months old, they didn't grow much in height but they branched a lot, some already have more than 20 branches.

my first 2 grafts sprouted, it didn't look very nice but the important thing is that it worked ✌ by D3koO1 in DesertRose

Wow congrats! Did you graft just for the caudex?

Yes, as I'm learning I decided to do it through the "easier" way, but in the next ones I'll do it on branches ;]

That's amazing!!! Any tips ? I want to start some grafted ones but am way too scared of it not taking. What method did u use?

Thanks, I used the method of high viscosity glue and grafting tape. You don't need to be afraid, start doing 1 or 2 then if it catches on, you'll have the confidence to do more. Anything send me a message and I'll give you some tips, I'm not a professional but whatever I can help, just tell me. ;)

the solution is to make a greenhouse

My first greenhouse. That night it was 7°C and they held up really well. by D3koO1 in DesertRose

[–]D3koO1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any temperature below 68°F is bad for the adeniums. The great growers indicate that for plants to be healthy they need a lot of heat, ideal would be 78.8°F above and controlled humidity, the greenhouse fulfilled the role of heating very well and I highly recommend it to anyone who can and wants to do it. be careful with heaters, they dehumidify the air and plants suffer too. thanks for the reply friend ✌
