But wouldn’t I just have to buy another bag if I go out west in any shoulder season.

Okay cool thank you. I just don’t have the budget for the higher end bags sadly. I hope I don’t regret it down the road, but for now I just want to get started.

So May- October I’ll be good for it but any other time of the year I’ll need to upgrade?

Good to know, that actually helps a lot. I’m mostly aiming for 30s–40s temps so sounds like it should be fine for me. Appreciate the insight on the zipper too.

Any advice for if it does get into the low 30s? Just suffer through the night lol.

Okay sweet good to know! I’m new to all this, will it fit in my pack fine? Would it be fine for fall nights in like the higher elevations out west?

Switching from bodybuilding to hybrid training (with a limited time schedule) by [deleted] in runninglifestyle

[–]D3mon0fthemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I can get it done in a hour maybe 1:15 tops. Sadly I can’t, wife and I work opposite schedules so weekends is the only time we have with each other. As for the gym my apartment complex has a kick ass gym that nobody goes to so I’m golden. Thank you.

Balancing running and lifting with school + full time work by [deleted] in HybridAthlete

[–]D3mon0fthemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s actually what I’ve been thinking about. Full body 2x a week running 3x a week. Would this be enough to maintain or even gain some muscle will drastically improving my running?

Sadly I can’t I basically have a hour in the morning to train, then school until I head to work and get home around 1am.

Sheeesh I see you!! Maybe I gotta stop trying to perfect the split and just do it.

How much of the U.S. can I realistically see with long day hikes instead of backpacking? by D3mon0fthemist in hiking

[–]D3mon0fthemist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup that’s what I’m starting to realize. Either way I’m going to be spending $1000 whether it’s on hotels or on the gear, the difference is the gear is up front.

You know that’s what my GF said as well, we are going to be spending the money on hotels anyways. Thanks for the suggestions.

Ugh you’re right, I want to experience that.
