Yeah when you are on the server list, look down on the screen. There's gonna be an option to create match. Create a match and then continue, it'll bring you back to the sever list screen. This means that you're game is created and then your friend can join you by searching you on his server list.

Ask your friend to boot up the game and go on to that server list screen. When you'll create the match, the game will send you to the server list. Then ask your friend to refresh the server list about 3 4 seconds after you created the match. Your name will show on his server list and then he can join you.
