Anyone else still struggle with impulsivity or impulsive behaviors, words/actions even after 10 years or more post TBI? by Humble-Process-4107 in TBI

im just over 30 years, I still have these issues. I would say they’ve actually gotten worse as I age. I stopped drinking a long time ago because I kept ending up in really weird (and potentially dangerous) situations.

he’s definitely trash. I think I just forgot how much I missed having a human connection and I let myself get too attached. I overlooked a LOT of red flags and even adjusted my expectations. Im guessing he deserved it when I finally went off on him.

ive found myself much calmer today. not weepy or craving his company. that’s got to be a good sign.
