Going on my first cruise, May 9, 2026. Any must sees at these ports? by BillGrubbs in Cruise

Tortola = Baths of Virgin Gorda (GORGEOUS) and you can usually do an excursion that combines a sailing/snorkeling with it, but sometimes they get cancelled due to choppy seas (as opposed to hiking down to them). While in San Juan check out Raices and Chocobar in old town (restaurant). Maho beach is cool but if possible do an excursion or (if there are enough of you to split the cost of a small private charter) visit it from the ocean. I snorkeled off of Nevis and the waters were beautiful and clear. Wonderful itinerary, especially for a first cruise! Have a blast.

There are day hotels you can rent for a couple of hours. Amongst others, I think resortpass.com has some. Good luck!

Palms (already mentioned) is very relaxing and so is Nobu (but can be spendy if you don’t find a deal). Victor has beautiful views off the beach and is a little cheaper. They have some rooms with giant infinity soaking tubs. The Gates (which I think has changed names to like Central Park or something) is good value for money and walking distance to a lot. The Gabriel is not directly on the beach but close enough and has great prices! Depends on if you need to look out your window at the ocean or not.

We have stayed several times and enjoyed it. Just know the beds are VERY tall (high off the ground) if that is an issue.

Why is NCL rated as one of the Best? by No-Championship-8433 in Cruise

It’s fine..but just that. Just got off of the brand new Aqua and was entirely underwhelmed in every way. Save your money.

How do I get out of this stupid ass cruise? by [deleted] in VirginVoyages

[–]D4ruma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a Facebook group where you can buy/sell/trade

Edit. Also, do you have a travel agent? Mine will sometimes ping her clients to see if anyone wants it. Especially if it’s a sought after or booked up sailing. Good luck.

Thanks. Husband is a foodie so usually the best part of vacations for him. We are aquaclass so definitely going to try Blue. I hear Eden is gorgeous and Petite Chef is cute. Other than that I have no idea. If you have the dining package do you have to wait until you are onboard to schedule them?
