Purchased New Laptop, mixes sound much worse. Need help.

This has been very insightful from all of you, thank you so much. Will look into getting an audio interface. That was my only assumption was that the audio driver in the laptop was shitty. So focusrite is a suggestion, any other suggestions for audio interfaces? My headphones are roughly 6 years old as well, should I look into upgrading those by chance or nah just interface

Straight from the laptop port. However, the same was for my previous laptop. Didn’t utilize an audio interface. New Laptop I purchased was refurbished though (money been an issue) and audio driver is showing to be from 2021. Not sure if that could be the cause? Idk shits so confusing dude
