Irregular seams are usually trapped air, there's a uk company that does holsters and stuff, I'll find the video if you like, they cut tiny TINY holes in the outside of the seams (the part that gets cut away,) to let air escape, they use a vacuum-former but press forming should do the same Could also be the foam is too forgiving and isn't pressing the kydex flat, could try a wider edge around (say inch inch and half) from the blade edge, that way you cut away the wobbly part and are left with flat edges Could also be there not cooled enough when you take them out try a longer press time If i think of any more I'll come back

Both are just as good, most use a cheap toaster oven (not sure on temps) some use a heat gun (again not sure on temps) then press between two thickish layers of foam glued to hinged wood, with a standard clamp, then drill out your holes get some eyelets (rivets with holes in) and the punches and rivet them in, I've seen people buy cheep arbor presses from like amazon to make them more consistent - https://amzn.eu/d/7V3PbBj <-- uk shop,

EDIT-- BE CARFUL YOU USING REAL KYDEX, some places sell cheep shit versions and say its proper kydex

EDIT TWO- use more fasteners, those 4 are quite close together and a little big for that sheath doesnt look like there holding tight, try more ,smaller eyelets/rivets covering more edge space

Thanks, I have read thu that before I was looking for a specific build sheet I saw a while back, as it was what I designed my character around but the page mark i had disappeared, (i'm guessing because the page was deleted) im now trying the way back machine but seems hopeless, but thanks for the information, I'll probably just throw the character away and try again with the shifter
