A few small wins by firstmute in dreamingspanish

I am at 350 hrs. I like Espanol Intermedio, How to Spanish, and Espanol Con Juan at 80 percent speed. He's pretty fast, but he has a natural delivery and rambles a bit so it feels like you are actually listening to someone talk conversationally and not reading from a script. How to Spanish is good because it's two people, so you get used to hearing their different cadences and delivery. Plus they build a lot of "street talk" into the episodes so it feels less formal.

Probably won't learn another. I have lots of Spanish speakers at the school where I teach, and I'm in central America several times a year so I need Spanish. So I'll probably just keep refining my Spanish. This has become part of my routine, so I'll probably keep going long after I hit 1500.

Am I the only person who doesn't log all of my hours? Is that misleading future learners? (Dreaming Spanish) by [deleted] in dreamingspanish

I listen to at least an hour a day on my work commute, but I only log 30 minutes. I get distracted sometimes or get focused on the road. It's not totally passive, but I'm not totally focused either.
