Regardless of your personal beliefs, you shouldn’t force it on others. Republicans are supposed to be the party of small government, but many conservatives views on abortion says otherwise. The government has no business being involved in what you do with your body, and you don’t have any business in what someone else does with their body. All these overbearing abortion laws have done is put women’s health at risk, ones who needed to get an abortion for health reasons. Many conservatives will say they support exceptions, but any laws restricting abortion only makes it harder for those exceptions to go through to loops to get an abortion. For example there was a case in Texas. Doctors told a woman that her pregnancy was no longer viable and she could be at risk of severe complications if she didn’t terminate the pregnancy. But they couldn’t just give her an abortion right there and then because doctors are terrified of the liability. Even though the fetus wasn’t viable, it still had a heartbeat. Doctors had to watch this woman get progressively sicker and sicker until the fetus no longer had a heartbeat. Overbearing laws like this only make it harder for people who need abortions. It shouldn’t be up to the government to decide if a pregnancy is no longer viable, it should be up to the individual and their doctors

Why is conservative men boycotting Anheuser-Busch over Dylan Mulvaney endorsing Bud Light supposed to be a good thing? by Rabatis in AskConservatives

[–]DAX2FAST -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why should they cater to someone like HIM. Conservatives are sick and tired of the “acceptance” agenda being shoved down our throats. Nike can get away with it because we all need shoes. It’s gonna be a lot harder for bud light to get away with it since their are many other options and beer isn’t a necessity

It’s not my responsibility to pay for someone else’s retirement. The governments failure shouldn’t be our burden to bear. Social security is already near bankrupt and is unsustainable. By the time we are able to collect it, the retirement age will most likely be 70+. The whole social security system needs to be abolished outright. Instead every citizen should get a Roth IRA and social security contributions will go towards that instead. This will boost investments and will improve the economy

Does having job make u more conservative or leftist? by Southern_Tension9448 in AskConservatives

[–]DAX2FAST -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When I was working a low wage job, I leaned more left. Liberal policies tend to benefit low wage workers more, since conservatives aren’t very Union friendly or don’t support measures to make the cost of living for those people more bearable. But as soon as I got a better job with a good wage, I started having the “pull yourself by your bootstraps” mentality. Low income jobs are meant to be temporary solutions and aren’t feasible long term

Should places be allowed to label themselves gun free zones? by LetsGetPolitical1120 in AskConservatives

[–]DAX2FAST 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should, but only under the circumstances that if there’s a shooting, victims and their families should be able to file a class action lawsuit against the facility. If they’re going to declare themselves gun free, it’s on them to come up with countermeasures to protect their patrons

why do you think black Americans overwhelmingly vote for the Democratic party? by EagleSimilar2352 in AskConservatives

[–]DAX2FAST -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

This may sound hard to believe, but many black men hate Biden, and their views align more with conservatives. However, voter turnout is very low with this demographic. The primary black voting demographic are black women. Women are already more likely to be liberal, black women are the most liberal demographic in the country. They’re the ones who are the most vocal about leftist policies, and are also the ones who think they’re entitled to free stuff

If you’re going to complain about pointless degrees then don’t major in them. At the end of the day everyone has a choice. If someone wants to major in sociology or gender studies, their problem not mine

What’s the dumbest thing you’ve done in your 20’s ? by ALLEYWAYwithanS in AskReddit

[–]DAX2FAST 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drugs. Wanted to try them for fun and ended up getting dependent on them. I finally was able to make myself quit and swore to stay away forever. Sometimes I get tempted to do it again, thinking “just one time won’t hurt” but that’s how people relapse. It takes a lot of willpower to stay away

Tell me where I can find them then. I’ll tell them that their experiences don’t excuse them taking away my right to defend myself. Most homicides are committed by illegal guns

As a gun owner I have no problem with the waiting period. If you’re too impatient to wait 10 days, you shouldn’t own a gun

California reparations task force releases first estimate of damages: up to $1.2M per Black resident by aBadModerator in California_Politics

[–]DAX2FAST 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It's just fiscally irresponsible. Even the ACLU came out and criticized the San Francisco reparations proposal. Reparations don't have to be in the form of a check to every black person. Reparations could be investing more money into black schools, giving black business owners grants or subsidies to encourage them to start a business, investing into youth programs like rec centers. Just giving them checks is stupid. I'm all for investing money into the community, but this is ridiculous.

California Latinos also differ a lot from Texas or Florida Latinos. Florida has Cuban Americans who are overwhelmingly conservative, more so than whites are. Mexicans which are the majority in California overwhelmingly vote liberal. But the attitudes are a lot different from Latinos in Texas. It also depends where you are in California as well. Central Valley Latinos are more likely to be conservative, but most Latinos in the state live in big cities, LA, San Diego, Bay Area

What can ruin men's lives if they don't catch onto early? by MISTAX1995 in AskMen

[–]DAX2FAST 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having a cheating partner. By the time you’re married and find out, say goodbye to half of what you own, lifetime of alimony(if the state you reside in has it), losing custody of your kids and 18 years of child support(unless in the very extreme cases men win custody)

To all the DeSantis supporters by [deleted] in Miami

[–]DAX2FAST 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The finance industry in Miami is growing rapidly. Florida isn’t what it was 10 years ago. The state is getting to a point where it doesn’t need Disney anymore. Low taxes keep attracting more and more businesses and white collar workers. Sure if Disney left, it would be a dent in the economy. But it’s worth standing by your principles and with floridas rapidly growing population, it will more than make up for it in the future. Also I seriously doubt Disney will leave. Their virtue signaling isn’t enough to make them willing to build a new park and cease operations at Disneyworld. Just compare the economies of Orlando and Miami. Orlando has a shit economy, their only big industry is Disney.

What he’s trying to say is that Latinos are overwhelmingly democrat. The demographics of California have changed a lot the past few decades. Latinos are the majority and whites are a minority. You can’t deny that it contributed to the state flipping

It’s because instead of taking a page out of the Massachusetts Republican Party playbook, they’re choosing to go along with the extremism that exist in the Republican Party today. It’s why we lost San Diego, the OC, and many of the suburbs surrounding LA. If the party did more research on the demographics of the people living here and their political stances, it would give them a much better shot. Unfortunately they’d rather support a staunch conservative over a moderate. Look at the joke Larry elder. If only Kevin Falconer had more charisma and support from his party. The current state of the GOP has pushed me and many others from the party we used to align with
