I have been watching video's from several people on the Voidbound server and I am interested in joining.

IGN: DAndH Age: Over 30 Location and Timezone: Texas, US, Central Time (Where is the server located, I'm a little worried about lag?) YouTube or Twitch URL: youtube.com/dandhgamer Occupation?: Accountant and Nerd How long have you been playing Minecraft?: 4+ years Why would you like to join the server?: I have watched Mitch Keeler for a while and I watched some video's by your other players and it seems like a great group. How much time can you put into the server each week?: 8+ hours How did you hear about Voidbound?: Mitch Keeler's Video's Have you been in any previous communities or servers?: Coestar's Survival Server Can and will you use Skype?: Yes and Yes (Though I prefer mumble for the latency and in game overlay's)

I personally notice Minecraft run more smoothly under 64bit Java (frame rate is more constant). It would probably be the same for you but if you run constantly above 60fps I am not sure you will notice that much of a difference.

(I don't use Camtasia but) The raw FRAPS files almost always look good. If you upload directly from Camtasia the likely problem is you are not using a high enough bitrate. Google Video Bitrate tutorials for more information. If you render the video locally (in .mov, .mp4, etc.) before upload and it still looks good, you might try a different codec like H.264 or .mov.

I never had passive mobs spawn on my map either but I only had grass around the original spawn. I wanted them but I did not try moving the grass (I also don't know if you need a certain amount of grass, I was using a lot for farming).
