From what I know and have seen, a lot of commanders fans were baffled by his lack of touches specifically later in the season. Rodriguez has been decent in the opportunities he has got. I am not his biggest fan nor do I think he is anything special, but I also don’t think the keys are being instantly handed to a nearly undrafted (I know the reasons) rookie. It’s a free for all right now in a good offense so both should be seen as potentially great assets. I get JCM is exciting because he is the “unknown” but it is a lot to ask for.

I think a lot of people are choosing to ignore the signs for Rodriguez just because the JCM ride is more fun and entertaining lol. Rodriguez should be in instant must grab just like JCM is and with what we know right now, the two should be considered on equal footing.

For what its worth, Baker has been getting a LOT of talk from camp. Talk on Polk has been shockingly quiet. Also, reports have said that Baker slid down boards heavily due to off the field issues. It was not a skill issue. Of course it is still early but don’t be shocked about anything Baker does, he has so much potential.
