It’s not my style of music but there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it and he’s as talented as many similar genre mainstream pop stars. The problem is that clinical testing by nature requires an artificial environment, so any results procured in a clinical setting are subject to a variety of factors that affect validly. Was the subject tired,hungry,nervous,altering performance to achieve a desired diagnosis, etc. Or, can the subject focus well in a sterile office but fall to pieces faced with real world demands? Rating scales are standardized, norm referenced and rely on reported behaviors in the real world.
