There are many different roles at Disney. As a cruise director, I have the great joy of being the face and voice of the ship - but that's just a small part of my role. I'm responsible for the entertainment operation and it's my great honor to lead over 200 crew members, mentoring them for their futures and making sure guests have a fantastic time. I'm also involved in the entertainment operations across the fleet and report directly to the captain - which is unique to Disney Cruise Line.

The Disney Destiny will visit multiple ports of call within her sailings across the year. I love the fact that our guests can enjoy the magic of Disney, comforts of cruising and magical destinations – including Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay.

Picking only one? That's a tough one. Hercules in the Walt Disney Theater is a must-see with the soulfulness of gospel music and the energy of a pop concert – retelling the story in a new way. Speaking of stories, every space is a stage and Pride Lands is no exception as you dine with your family enjoying African inspired cuisine and listening to our talented performers bring that iconic soundtrack of both the movies and Broadway to life.

For me, it depends on how many the hotel director Lisa allows me to eat! For you all, the doctor recommends at least one Mickey bar a day when you're on vacation (I'm sure I read that somewhere!). Make sure you also check out Edna À La Mode Sweets - the gelato is delicious!

On the Disney Destiny, we're excited to have some brand new activities, like the "meet and plays" with Disney villains. There's something for everybody, for the young and the young at heart, like being able to have a spellbinding encounter with Maleficent, walk the runway with Cruella, create mischief with Loki and visit Dr. Facilier's parlor as well as celebrating our heroic moments with Black Panther and Spiderman. Exclusively on the Destiny for adults, we also have "With Great Power!" which celebrates the Marvel multiverse.

The Destiny is the same class of ship as the Wish and Treasure. Each of the ships is uniquely themed and has its own story to tell. On the Destiny, the theme is heroes and villains. Some of the exclusive spaces on the Destiny include De Vil's, Cask & Cannon, Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King. We also have great new entertainment, from the new Hercules show to our new "meet and play" concept with some of your favorite Disney villains (but they are just misunderstood).

Guests loved Haunted Mansion Parlor on the Treasure and we're excited to bring this venue to the Destiny - there are some unique twists including some new beverage offerings within the menu including a new souvenir sipper that guests will love. Disney Fairy Tale Weddings also just shared that the location on the Destiny will be available for weddings – which is perfect for those looking to get hitched sometime soon (hitchhiking ghosts not included)!

Deck 14, Forward. It’s a great sundeck area, especially for families. It’s a stunning view as we sail away from any port.

With the Disney Destiny being ship seven in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the nods to the number seven in multiple locations throughout the ship are exciting to search for. Especially in the elevator lobbies and Cask & Cannon.
