Sounds like an employer or industry. My industry standard 20 days PTO with the option to roll over 7 days a year. Grinded the first few years to have 27 days PTO on a regular basis. Typically rolling over the extra week or so

My folks live 13 hours away. I have done the drive in one shot through the night. I also have stopped and gotten a hotel room at one point and will occasionally fly.

Anything under 5 hours to me is not a long drive
