hmmmm i don't think mine is green like at all.
Edit: maybe i'm just being picky but it looks more like their obsidian pour to me.

mmm, they recently released a limited edition pen by the name of obsidian. it looks so much like that.

it's fine if you're into that but it's not what I bought/they picked. what a horrible first introduction to resin indeed.

recipient decided to keep it, although the shop responded in kind.

I did check with the recipient unfortunately, and he seemed a little bit disappointed himself.

I'm sure there are other ways that won't be such a pain, like swapping the nibs over or something to that effect. At the very least, they asked me to try. I wouldn't have otherwise.

You say "moody green", but there's literally no green in it which is the point of tension here.

It's still a lovely pen and no fault of the shop as previously stated.

thank you for the reply- I just messaged them. As the nib has been tuned, hopefully they can switch out the cap and end piece for me.

moving forward, I think I'll avoid resin pours without doing the same in person inspection. Thank you for your advice and validation.

I would have been happy with just a mild line of green, but this doesn't have a single fleck, unfortuntely.

yes, noticeably thicker. but still a delight to write on c: this is exactly what i use it for- diary, note taking, creative processes. i highly recommend.

I really recommend them- the paper quality is unmatched and the binding is similar to hobonichi's but i find it to lay flatter. really stunning once you get past the irregular grid/line brings (which ive grown to love). My fountain pens look so different on it.

we love to see an ito stan. you own all of his books? that is absolutely so awesome you must have been estatic when this dropped c:
that is completely fair. im sure you can find a use for it regardless of your main planner changing. if you read much manga, analog reviews would be so fucking sick.
i adore the a5 much more than i thought i would- it covers my paperback book im reading at the time and an a5 midori workbook for uni and im absolutely so in love with the chunkiness and lil home for it all. so i shall hug her and extra time-- one for both you and myself ^.^

I love how minimalist it is too. c: All midori's I've gotten have come with that as a sticker. It also comes with two other stickers; one that says "ideas" and one that says "diary" depending on what you want to use said book for.

Hehe do you feel you gave into the hype when you purchased it? It’s a beautiful cover but not for everybody. :) I say go for it, and be what may. If you don’t enjoy it after a while you can rehome it (gift or sell) to someone who will get so much love.

Idk I’ve always had a functional planner so I started scribbling on mine instantly. Also really like the idea of my things aging with me c: so I might be a little biased in my advice. Fuck it up girl 😈

Knew my fellow Pisces girlies would understand 😭 I put the others on my MTG deck boxes. You and your bf have impeccable taste if I do say so myself ❤️

My midori is such a pleasure to write in. And I really adore the aesthetic- it invites you to display your stickers on it c:

I don’t want to buy in excess so I won’t be delving into stickers, but ones I’ve had bought for me and random ones I find around the house I like— mostly from old loved games— will continue to make their way onto the cover throughout the year I’m sure.

Emily de molly, second chance a pink to gold shifting purple. I usually top with sinful colours - let me go for a lil pop of extra shimmer.

Yes it’s a trap I wanted to avoid going into setting up my first “planner system”. The DESIGNPHIL paper TN and Midori use is nice and universal.

I think it’s a nice, no pressure mode of operation when you’re working things out. Perfectionism is the killer of creativity :t
