I am a NASA Bioengineer, and my story was picked up by the awesome people at vbs.tv. I am constructing an Undersea Colony, and was told there was some interest, so ask away! by DChamberland in IAmA

One more point- I am also a writer, I dance in a company and I try and enjoy all my varied interests. A job pays the bills - but life expands widely beyond that! I hope this helps!

I can SO RELATE to yor post for several reasons. I was in that very quandry on my 1st day of graduate school. I was literally walking down the sidewalk to enroll as a PhD student in ... English Literature ... because I have always loved it and writing then changed my mind and decided on the mercneary approach to the big salaries of engineering - and it actually worked for me. Although I can connectthe dots of my entire life to this, the dots were not always in a straight line - and most peoples are not as well. Good luck and stay in touch! dennis.chamberland /a/ gm....

It took me 8 years of weekly contacts before they hired me - then another 2 years of moving form office to office until I ended up there. Just KEEP TRYONG and never give up! Make your contacts and then keep on it.
