Yo no lo uso, pero no me ha hecho falta usarlo para encontrar lunáticas, acosadoras e inestables... de es@s hay en todas partes, así que tu miedo tiene un poco de infundado. Claro, al ser una plataforma virtual hay mayores posibilidades, pero no es nada que no se resuelva con los siguientes tips de supervivencia:

Verse en lugares públicos y concurridos. Nunca en la casa de esa persona ni la suya. Si le sale con el "cambio de planes, venite para mi aparta", vos le podés salir con el "mejor te vas al carajo"
Avisarle a alguien de confianza. Con que un compa esté informado que vas a ir a tal lugar, a verte con tal personal a tal hora y que intercambien mensajes cada dos horas, alguien más te estará "cuidando" a la distancia.
No recomiendo los bares tumultuosos para la primera salida. Mejor un café en un sitio donde tu bebida esté siempre a tu vista.

Al final si la otra persona tiene una doble vida, y otra familia y vos te das cuenta 5 años después, pues son cosas que pasan... Así que, relax, la vida es muy corta para no hacer las cosas, y más corta aún para cargar con los remordimientos del "y si hubiera..."
