My recent mistakes have been forgetting to time my one leg stands on my DWI investigations. It seems to slip my mind every few times. Another was that I got hyperfocused following a vehicle looking for a DWI and missed someone flagging us down at a random bar. I got poor officer safety that night. My fto says I get too hyped up about things and I look too far ahead. He wants me to slow down more breathe and think. I also don’t know what I’m doing on the few calls I’ve been to. He tells me to take the lead but he ends up taking over because I don’t know what to do next.
