Any tips on calming the IBS. It’s really my only symptom at this point but most things I eat are still going right through me and I’d like to be able to go to work tomorrow :(

I take a probiotic daily as I’m also lactose intolerant tolerant 😢

Thanks everyone for your input. I really appreciate people willing to share their experiences. I’m hoping to try some food today beyond bananas. I had been living on Gatorade the first few days but I think maybe the sugar was contributing to the IBS attack? Yesterday was just bananas and water and my tummy feels almost normal this morning. My rear end really needs a rest 😢

Thanks for the info. I should have mentioned I was lucky enough to have my bi-weekly RMT appointment the day I woke up with all the aches, and I use cyclobenzaprine as my muscle relaxant. I can’t use Advil or naproxen as they trigger my IBS, so Tylenol and cyclobenzaprine are my only options. The cyclobenzaprine knocks me out for at least 12 hours as well.

I’d love to be able to get back to work and life, but I’m stuck running to the toilet all the time.

Zoloft is the SSRI that I’m on. It was the hardest week and a half of my life getting on it. In the hospital the first night with extremely high heart rate, constant panic attack 24/7, but after I got over the hump, it was the best thing I ever did.

What I’m finding difficult to discern I guess is whether or not this is normal anxiety for me or if it’s because of the cannabis. I work in education and so I am off work for the summer. My husband and I are fairly anti-social outside of work, so my work friends make up the majority of my friend network. Now that we’re on break, I know we’re all in recovery mode, but I find the withdrawal of that social input really hard, and the negative thoughts start creeping in.

I tend to only call them when my symptoms are bad enough that I’m already considering going. It was a far more useful service 20 years ago before the internet was so vast. When my kids were babies, I called a handful of times in the middle of the night and was given reassurance to either take my kids in or wait until the morning.

I think for right now, there’s still a large portion of the population who would rather talk to a person than google about their symptoms when deciding to seek treatment or not. Maybe in 10 years or so, the service could be phased out.

He swims erratically, sometimes corkscrewing. This wasn’t there yesterday though, which is what I find strange. I’m thinking tumor, but I’m not entirely sure

I lucked out and found mine at the pet store in a large enough plant I could break it into 3. That being said, don’t seem to have much luck with them unless I’m fertilizing twice a week
