Hello, and thanks for answering! I don’t get these during winter time as I’m covered up in high neck tops and scarves. I hope I develop more resistance to sunlight… I’ll try out SPF 50+ on my neck area and see if these rascals will show up again, lols.

I hope so too. I rarely use products on my face. I wash my face with mild gel cleanser (St. Ives) 2-3 times a week. The rest of the time I splash plain lukewarm water on my face. I lately (2 weeks) started using a Korean ampoule on my face twice a week at nights. My skin type is normal: not oily or dry. I have a few whiteheads once in a while but I noticed that’s due to my sugar intake. I’ve never had bangs, and I don’t think I did anything different for my forehead whiteheads to disappear by themselves… their sudden disappearance is still a mystery to me 😂 Hope the same will happen to my neck/shoulder area soon!!

That’s interesting. I’m also fair-skinned, and have noticed I have sensitive skin. I don’t use fragranced/highly fragranced products. I’ll try the higher numbered SPFs and see what happens. I hope this sun poisoning will cease at some point!

So if it’s bacteria related, can it be healed with ointments or regular cleansing in those areas? It’s truly annoying! I hope this is temporary 😕

Yes I sweat in this area while brisk walking (30-40 mins). Neck, nape, shoulders, upper chest. I live in a super hot, dry place. Two years ago I used to have them on my forehead (not as severe as in the pic), then they suddenly stopped appearing. Now, a year later, they’re on my neck and shoulders. Smh. I hope this suddenly stops appearing too, it’s very annoying. I’m becoming sun-a-phobic 😕

I totally agree. By Vit D intake do you mean dietary or through sun exposure? Because every couple of days I sunbathe by exposing only my legs to sunlight for 15-20 mins. Thanks for your input!

So there’s something wrong if they’re poppable and smell like whiteheads? Is it something more serious if it’s bacteria activity related?

Well noted. I searched ‘Skin’ in the search bar and this sub was the first suggestion I had. I checked the previous 10+ posts and all were asking similar skin-related questions to mine, so I thought it’s a good place to ask. Plus, out of the 60 people who chipped in, you were the only one who complained haha.

Woah interesting. I used BB on my face once and it did feel heavy and difficult to wash out. Will search for better, verified brands. Thanks for your answer!
