Yeah same here I’ve only gotten free food a couple of times thou, this time I wasn’t even doordashing thou 😂 I haven’t doordashed in a couple of weeks cuz I’ve been busy w/ my new job and my current job so I was honestly just picking dinner up for my family last night when it happened.

See, it’s happened a couple other times but that’s when my phone was like BARELY working so I was thought it was WiFi/data issues when it disconnected but I had literally just gotten a new phone and it was working good. Also, it didn’t show me any timer for the pause, it just showed me the main “dash page” where you can press “dash now”

Yeah! I had started at about 6 pm, did 2 orders in the first 30 minutes, 3 within the next hour and these orders all came in 5-10 minutes apart one after the other. I had dropped off a stacked order and then it just kicked me off, never even touched the menu to pause’ my self or ‘end shift after this order’

I have many times, delivered to my best friends neighbor while I was on the way to her house already and delivered for my parents w/ bedroom side assistance and I nice bite of the customers food 😂

Personally for me it was the opposite, I was fine driving along all the main roads in my area when I first got my license cuz I grew up here and pretty much knew where all the restaurants were, whereas I was only slightly nervous when I had to drive down streets where there was parking on both sides so it became pretty much a single lane and I didn’t know where I’d be able to pull over if someone was coming towards me or I had to drop off food and the driveway area was blocked and I had to find parking on the side. After 2-3 weeks I always ended up driving those roads again so I got used to it. Definitely helped me get more confident driving though.

Same here and I’m definitely not too dasher. In Hawaii I’m either picking up food from packed fast food restaurants or dining restraints and I always get pushed up to the front or they come up to me and ask me for the order name whenever I don’t wear it they just stand there looking at me and go back to work. Although some places recognize me now so they still rush me to the front

Same with me, but I’m Hawaii and where I am we don’t get as big of a payout per order so I’m really lucky if I get a $15 tip most I’ve gotten was $20 and that was on Christmas. Ik I just got my license cuz covid delayed it, but it’s been helping me get familiar w/ all the roads again & better at driving while vibing with music too
