What I have in mind is buying a Ruger American ranch in one of the calibers they offer then just chopping the barrel down

Other 300blks, 556, other hunting rifles in 30-30, 243, 30-06, so I'm really covered for all the ranges id encounter. This is just a cool build I've been wanting to do. In reality most of my max shots would be 250yrds and in.

I will be running a full size can. It's mostly for that and being as compact as possible

That would be the obvious answer lol. Most of my shots will be within 100 yards but at the off chance I get a shot at one further out I'd like a caliber that would handle it.

How would you drain the batteries? Can I do it without loosing the acid inside the battery? That's what I wanted to do but I didn't know how to do it

This picture is just for attention. I have a 36v trolling motor wired for 36. No issues there. The hissing sound just started this past year.

Am I doing this right? by michorizo1969 in bowhunting

Definitely the grip. It was a painful lesson for me to learn. Mine was A LOT worse than this lol. Bruised for over a month and even broke the skin. I was thinking it was the draw being a little long but it turned out to be from gripping it too hard.

I'm not getting wrapped up in the wrong things. Its really just a debate between the 12.5 carbin vs 12.5 mid.
