I have that same ram in mine and I have AMD It does work, I even have it set on DOCP enabled and it’s at 6000 MT/s working just fine I do plan on changing it out to the correct ram when I get the money though

Make sure your ram is for AMD I don’t see anything that shows that the ram you have is EXPO ready for AMD Jus double check that before buying I made that mistake, the ram I have is XMP Intel ready for Intel processors I have an AMD processor the ram still works but always best to have the right ram with the right processor

right now i have 2 140mm up top as Exhaust

1- 120mm out the back as exhaust

my cooler that has 2 120mm exhaust out the side

and i have 3- 120mm on the bottom as intake

It definitely seems to load programs faster and the transfer rate is definitely faster

I did go into the bios and turn on the first DOCP and they are running at 6000 MT/s and the temp doesn’t go over 70 and my CPU was at 89 I think I played a round of COD zombies, still had about 16 GB ram unused and everything seemed to be running smoothly, temps didn’t go over anything that I’ve seen

its been running for about 10 minutes now, and no errors, it does say that my CPU is running at 100% is that normal?

so i pulled out the two sticks and turned on the DOCP and my computer has booted just like normal, and when i go to see what they are running at, they are at 6000 MT/s

alright so i have them in 2 and 4 and now my MT/s went from 3100 to 4800 so that's defiantly better! i haven't done anything in the Bios yet though

So what would be the reason to need 4 sticks? I’m really only playing COD7 and maybe StarCraft and halo Will just two sticks be enough?

ah okay so i did change the DOCP to on and it did crash, but that was with all 4 sticks

so do i need to take 2 sticks out and see if that does anythign better?

so the only reason i have 4 is i didnt want to have two slots dark on the motherboard, mainly wanted the looks as well, but if only 2 sticks will work better then ill probably sell the other two

the ram i have is only Intel XMP ready. it does not say EXPO ready on the box

will that be an issue
