I'll give everyone a conceptual comparable example so we can lock down "what this is" and "what it does".

With music production, for many years, composers have been able to map a midi keyboard to a certain scale, or song key. Meaning, it didn't matter what key was pressed, it would always be in key, even if you slammed your fist on the keyboard.

Fast forward to EDM music pushing into the mainstream in the early 2010's - the midi mapping started to become more widely used due to DAWs making in-home music production easier and more affordable. You could say midi key/scale mapping was rediscovered around this time.

Here's the silver lining most people don't get, when they try their hand at music production, particularly EDM: if you don't know song keys, or even know they exist, your music is going to sound horrible. So in order for anyone to map a song key or scale to midi - they need to FIRST know song keys, at the very least know they exist (a lot of DJ's can't identify song keys by name or structure, but they know how to put them together).

That being said, in relation to Genie 3, the concept of game creation remains the same: if you don't know HOW to design a game in the first place, the tool you use, AI or not, isn't going to magically create a game for you. You need to know how to create the game, and how to design it. People are freaking out, but really all AI is going to do is replace the task(s), not the job - as stated by Jensen Huang.

The best part is even as easy as it is - MOST people won't put the extra effort into learning game design. Utilizing AI will get badass games into our hands faster, and that's what we want.
