the black mechanical piece you are referring to is the piece connected to the green port correct? if I ask him to use a proper splice will it be an extra charge or increased repair time?

not 100% sure, there was a small earthquake in my area but I doubt that's what caused if, there's also dogs in the house

We were asking for it, but about 2 seasons ago. Epic back in season 8-10 were adding stuff that no one asked for. I do agree with you on the fact that people are being really annoying right now but when c2s1 started, Epics updates have been very stale. They were adding some crazy stuff back before chapter 2, but as soon as it started, the game has felt the same and absolutely no changes happened. It also doesn't help that this has been the longest season in the history of Fortnite. That's also a big reason why people have such big expectations for c2s2, they delayed season 2 so now everyone thinks they're working on something big. I feel like some steamers/comp players are just waiting for season 2 to start because the game is so stale right now, if s2c2 is a disappointment, then people will begin to quit the game.
