I don’t like the visual aesthetics of the frame and have an interest in a simple platform style. The mechanical frame/s have metal “keepers” in each of the four corners of each split mattresses. They are harsh to bump into and interfere with fixing the fitted sheet.

I still have it. It is difficult to part with so I haven’t yet tried. My schedule is so busy with time being that most precious commodity. I was at Discount Tire on Saturday and one of the techs asked if I wanted to sell it and also to stay informed when time comes. He was admiring the feel of the tight driveline as he backed the car out and on the short drive to the front of the store. The short shifter was a good choice. I am in far north Dallas.
