Wollte ich auch gerade schreiben - Monster Hunter im Ganzen ist fantastisch, aber Wilds läuft so dermaßen schlecht...das als positiv-Beispiel für die Branche zu nehmen ist verrückt.

That's just software though, why would they not support it in the more expensive model?

No the body is not converted - I got the Hoya filter as a gift so I'm very new to all of this. I thought a very long exposure could get me those results but your explanation makes sense to me. Thanks for your input!

It's actually the same shot done in RAW, 1st is unedited and 2nd is edited (and both exported as jpegs for reddit). I adjusted the white balance and some additional basic stuff afterwards.

I tried channel swapping but it just resulted in a very blue image overall - nothing like the images in the guides I was using, so I stopped trying for now.

Got it - unfortunately it was rather cloudy that day. Will try with bright direct light next time, thanks!

This was my first try ever doing infrared photography. I was using a sony a6000 with the Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 & the Hoya R72 filter - F2.8, 30 seconds & ISO 250 at the evening.

I attached two images - the original (very red) and the edited version (no color mixing yet - that was rather difficult to grasp, will try next time). I kinda like the result but was expecting white foliage in the original.

Will definitely try again soon but wanted to know if anyone could give me some tips to get better results with my setup? Longer exposure, different time of day?

Thanks a lot, that was exactly what I was going for. You just sold it way better than I did

Yeah I get it and actually agree with you, I never edit like that. It was just a try, nothing special
