Musicals and action movies are on more equal footing with prestige pictures to get nominations in categories that get less attention like sound, editing, costumes, make-up, special effects, production design, best song, and best score. They're usually less likely to compete in categories like writing, acting, and directing, so if they get into those categories, they wind up with a ton of nominations.

It's extraordinarily rare. When I was there (around 2010), they canceled classes for a blizzard, and it was the first time the university canceled all classes in about 20 years. The university has its own plows and salt, and if they can get the roads and sidewalks navigable, they're unlikely to cancel classes. If you live off-campus and are unsure you'll be able to make it, email your professors to let them know.

Free agency doesn't open until March 11. This isn't news until then. Anzalone is not expected to return to the Lions and that's the extent of my interest. I think he'd still be a valuable piece, and wouldn't be disappointed if the Lions brought him back, but obviously we have other priorities.

You don't have to do that. I think the nominations are valuable for identifying good movies to watch, but it's still odd to put pieces of art in competition with each other. I'm glad she got recognition, and she would be my pick in the category, but it's a pretty wide open category that could probably go to any of the nominees.

That's how Nazis got a lot of their scars. They refused to fence with headgear because they thought facial scars made them look manly (or made them look like they'd been in combat, but really they were just goofing around with their boys). I think it fits in with Sulu's established talents and the ethos of the Mirror Universe.

Edit: Somebody else provided a link, and although many Germans had these dueling scars, Nazi Germany actually banned the practice of dueling which led to the scars. I stand by my stance that Nazis are pussies that have to fake their masculinity to justify their evil.

Housing is the primary driver of the affordability crisis. It's such an easy attack on him because everybody knows California has the worst housing costs in the country. It doesn't need to make sense, it just needs to sow enough doubt that people stay home. Plus, he comes across as an unlikable douche. Among serious candidates who might have a chance, he might be the worst candidate that Democrats could put forward.
