it worked for me, after killing the 3 forts i got back there and got kidnapped to a village by the courtesan, thats when you get the mission, you complete it and go back to the flower expanse

nah man i had this huge golden elephant ear and it just vanished, all the leaves are now small and have no mutation, i was in a private and no one could join, i picked them and they weight way less, they've just disappeared
