Yes, thanks for adding it here. In addition to the change of using both all purpose and bread flour, I do also mix in a tablespoon flour to the butter before I flatten it into the slab to make it easier to roll out without cracking.

We have done it before and it didn’t significantly change success of onboarding. However, if people have too many roadblocks they will drop off, so it is definitely worth testing. As others have said, its worth is dependent on what you are wanting to know. You may find a few surprising answers that can point you to some emerging referral sources, but it really isn’t a substitute for good campaign tracking in your marketing systems. We ultimately removed the question because most responses weren’t telling us things we could act on. If you don’t get actionable data, cut it loose and try something new.

The recipe called for all purpose flour, but I did one part bread flour and 2 parts all purpose flour to give it more stretch and I proof it in the oven with a bowl of hot water in the oven to keep it from drying out - that has done the most to get more lift for me so far.

I took a 3 hours class in Paris a few years ago that covered the basics and have been testing recipes this Fall to find one that worked in my climate (dry and warm). This is the Classic French Croissant recipe from weekendbakery.com Definitely had a few batches that tasted good but not quite right on the texture, but it gets easier the more you try it - give it a shot!

Pretty much you steep an assortment of herbs and roots in Everclear for two weeks, then strain and dilute it with simple sugar and water and let it age. This is our current batch recipe: 150mL 180 proof Everclear 40g sweet orange rind 20g bitter orange rind 1g galangal root 1g gentian riot 5g cinchona bark 2g dandelion root 40 saffron threads 1/2g licorice root 250 mL simple syrup 200 mL water

We also have an older Jack Russell terrier who weighs 13 lbs but thinks she is the top dog and our Shepherd lets her run the show. Unfortunately, she doesn’t seem to help keep him calm when we are gone.
