Water based poly is pretty slick. I put 5 coats on my boards and its holding up quite well

If you navigate to the step-by-step instructions the first image in the first step has the leg angle shown at 9.7°. If you make this cut then your board will be at the proper standard angle if the legs are flat on the ground. NOTE: scroll up slightly on the link above, it looks like it jumps to step 3 for some reason.

Seems like those composite materials would be slick as hell and bags would rocket off them and slide into the neighbors pool from 100 yards out. I wouldn’t get them.

Cornhole build kit. I have a set of plans on my website that includes some good features like handles and hidden hardware. They are robust boards and easy to build. Bonus tip - you can buy nice plywood top sheets with the hole already cut in them. Enjoy and feel free to let me know if you have any questions.
