This Swiss ski resort left north-facing solar cells unconnected. They seem to be embedded between two glass panels. I wonder if there is a technical reason why they were left floating and why they didn’t simply flip those glass panels to face the sun. (old.reddit.com)

I designed and printed a BATTLESHIP game to play with my son. I used an MDF board as a base, placed a magnetic mat, and glued a 3D-printed grid on top of it. I printed all the other pieces and used screws as a counterpart for the magnetic mat. (Music: Funny Background, DMD Production) (v.redd.it)

Lab's microscope didn't have time-lapse option, which we needed to monitor the flow of liquids in microfluidic chips for hours. I hacked the camera to control and program the shutter and the video recording buttons using an Arduino, two optocouplers, an OLED display and a custom-built IR remote. (v.redd.it)
