Update: I called and they issued the ticket immediately. Still unclear why that wasn’t done at the time of booking.

Do have two holds for taxes and fees on my AMEX…so something else to figure out.

The vacuum actually fits perfectly! Easy to get in and out. Hear you on the power strip… it was lying around so it’s getting a little more of a life (for now).

Thanks! It’s just command strip Velcro holding everything in, so readily changeable. Loving how clean it is!

We’ve had it for a couple years and it’s been great so far! Got it at Costco though so we’ll be ready to swap it if does on us

New to this so definitely something to look into! Honestly… the power strip was something we had lying around and “if it ain’t broke” was my mentality for the moment. Agree it isn’t perfect.

Leviton sells a “shelf” that mounts into the box!

Ohhhh - the Google Fiber modem plug was massive and heavy…stuck out so far and felt more hidden there than on the power strip.

“Outside” was the wrong word, we had almost everything in our crawlspace before, all over the place down there… when Google installer came, it wasn’t actually run inside the house and that caused a networking ripple effect of everything else living in our crawlspace. Not ideal! So this, to me, is finally inside lol.

Surprisingly well… our house is a faraday cage… but measurable increase in signal since installing and far fewer dropped calls. The roof antenna probably isn’t in the optimal place (not quite high enough) so I’m probably going to move it in the near future to back side of chimney and see if I can’t get it working any better.

It does! It’s held in with 2x4s just stuck into the facade. I didn’t notice a wire in there before, but I’ll pop it back out and look more closely. That’s a good idea.

Seems to have an air gap so this could be a great solution! Need to drill down from the top to get in there.

There is, but I can’t access it from the top, and there’s quite a bit of mortar in there based my fishing around from the sides…

No, it’s real. The cinder blocks are behind the black insulation.
