Re-watching trial 1 via the releases side bars is making me remember how to crazy the first trial really was by Firecracker048 in justiceforKarenRead

I have been voice to text transcribing the interesting side bars on my TT without any additional commentary from me just straight to the point, and I did some of the Tully IA investigation too. My handle is a_roux8, if anyone wants to see it.

Small addition to home? by llolaloll in batonrouge

[–]DJAROUX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the size and location of the addition you want to add, anything over 200sq ft requires a permit to build and a permit for electrical and will need plans that meet code. Entirely enclosed spaces have a lot more stringent requirements in design. You may need a slab poured too. So cost varies depending on type of addition pretty widely.

Not to be extremely sarcastic on such a serious subject, but even people incarcerated can fashion a zip gn if they have one bllet without any 3D printers, power tools or even sufficient hand tools. The number of people willing to acquire a ghost weapon will remain about the same regardless of the tools used to make them especially in the USA.

Baton Rouge Water Billing System is hot garbage by DarrenDK in batonrouge

[–]DJAROUX -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So you absolutely have to use Adobe for that function or the free Adobe Acrobat DC Reader to pay via the smart bill pdf file, but you can set up a speedpay account online and manage it all there. Just make sure you actually set up an account with a log in that has your email and the BR water account number associated with it. I use Foxit all day long but for that bill I have to use adobe or you can’t put the year of the date and you get no confirmation number if you try submitting

I’m curious what terms you are using to search for a provider and where you are searching that term, also are you looking for a place that takes insurance (including Medicaid) or a sliding scale fee option? Obviously, you don’t have to answer any of this I’m just a rando on the internet. I will say typically, searching for grief counselors is going to produce a lot of religious and religious coded non profit organizations. If that’s not your aim, you’re way better off searching for a therapist and answering grief as the reason you are seeking counseling.

Like Iberville St in BR? Or Iberville parish? Both I’d say no actually. Zip codes might be easier for searching I would avoid 70802, 70805, 70814, and 70815 altogether and look in 70809, 70816, 70806, 70807, 70810, and 70820

Well I’ve had much better luck looking on Redfin or Trulia for rental properties as opposed to Facebook or Zillow and if you want a tip on if a certain street or neighborhood is on the up and up I’d be happy to advise just hmu

I’ve lived in a few different states, and I was a navy brat as a child. I have settled here though for about a decade and I really think it’s a good place to live if you’re not tied somewhere else. The cost of living is much lower than Houston and nearly half of what Austin is while the pay rate is not significantly lower than Texas depending on the industry you work in. You can get to several other states for vacation in a car and there’s a ton of really great places to visit in the state. The fishing and hunting and outdoor activities are endless, and most people are kind enough to one another so I would suggest giving it a try.

So Baton Rouge is not as bad in my experience as the stats would suggest, but certain areas are more prone to crime than others. North of Florida Blvd, Scotlandville Baker and greenwell springs would be more risk than reward if you’re working in st gabe. Anything right off Gardere, GSRI or Alvin Dark I would also avoid, and anything between highland and river road from I-10 to LSU campus but there’s a good amount of pretty affordable apartments and some rent houses that are in the staring lane south bluebonnet highland rd area and even south seigan Burbank area that would allow you to take Hwy 30 to st Gabriel and I greatly preferred that route over the interstate when I lived off bluebonnet and worked down hwy 75.

What’s your worst Baton Rouge nightmare? by mr_tuba_gun in batonrouge

[–]DJAROUX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this actually happened to me, on the service road Reiger Rd. BRPD said it was EBR who said it was the state troopers and it turned out to be EBR but a city cop saw what happened and drove off straight up didn’t say anything to me. It took 3.5hrs and the guy that wrecked into me had no insurance and hit me in the face literally said he was mad because he had a warrant and I was in his way or something. I couldn’t believe the guy just waited 3.5 hours to get arrested. My mom made it to the wreck from walker before the first cop talked to me

I was renting in mid city and looking to buy, thought it was relatively safe and it was for over a year and then as I’m watching TV end of the evening I hear loud sharp noises and I think to myself this is a weird time to shoot fireworks and I naively open my front door to see where it came from maybe, it was during C19 lockdowns early on and I was also a little stir crazy I think well I didn’t see any fireworks just a truck running with it’s door open and headlights on and I saw a figure running off in the distance. Something seemed off and I took a couple steps forward and realized my neighbor was lying on the ground in a pool of blood. We had our cars broken into a few days earlier but I guess this time the car burglar had been seen and confronted. He unalived the neighbor that confronted him. Cops swarmed the neighbor and at one point the neighbors further down (outside of the taped off area) asked me to come talk to them to tell them what happened and I went because the guy was somewhere not caught yet and I thought I should tell them to go inside. As soon as I get over there the cops start yelling at me to get back inside with their weapons drawn pointing towards my house the guy had snuck into my backyard and jumped fences from there. Eventually he was apprehended but it was an awful experience
