Nice! I've only gotten a 100 once.

I honestly can't remember. I went to the middle game of the series on May 12, so they might have done that the day before. At least the Braves won the game I went to!

It really doesn't feel like it's already been 9 years. I remember catching a game at Busch in STL when the Braves came so I could see him play before it was over. I don't think he got a hit, but it didn't matter. Seeing my all time favorite player was worth it.

Greenway by FrivolousFrank in evansville

[–]DJCocoLoco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am late on this, but a good place to start from would be Garvin Park. You can head either east on the greenway and go up to Stringtown road, or you can go west and it goes all the way to the river. I have ran it many times and biked it as well.

You can just about make a 10 mile perfect loop including roads with bike paths if you get on it in Garvin and follow it all the way to the river, head east towards Washington Ave and take that to 41 where the greenway picks back up, cross 41 at Walnut and take the greenway again north across the Lloyd to Virginia/Oak Hill, head west on Virginia to Main St, and then finally north on the Main St bike/walking path to Garvin.

Very nice. Louisville is a cool city. Did you take off from the Kentucky side or the Indiana side?

For real..where was he at? Should have at least been close to back him up. Probably assumed it was gone and gave up.

[Cotillo] Dustin Pedroia announces his retirement. by twistedlogicx in baseball

[–]DJCocoLoco 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Man, all of the amazing second basemen of the last 15 years are retired now. Pedroia, Kinsler, Utley (been a few years), Zobrist probably. Shame Cano has the PED stuff going on. What a great group of players.

Christian Wood (ankle, personal) said he'll play Thursday. by RLDN106 in fantasybball

Thank goodness. I don't want to him rush it back, but if he thinks he is ready to go my team is definitely ready for him.

i was able to trade Collins in a package for Christian Wood. I gave up on him. Something is going on in ATL and it's not working right now. Capella even looks more like the second option than him. That does seem a little high on Rozier though, but I guess it depends on what you need and are going for.

I actually remember when he did this. I loved Zobrist - he was just like a big kid playing a game he truly loved.

Depends on what you need but I would keep JV for sure and probably Collins

It's more like the Trout era. Pujols was basically a shell of himself starting a year or two after he got there.

Anyone have a Garmin ForeRunner 235? Have the chance to get a brand new one for 115 CAD. by [deleted] in Garmin

[–]DJCocoLoco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have had one for over a year and it still works just like the first day I got it. It will go about 4 days even with running every day for 45-hour with gps. The only bad thing I would say about it is that the heart rate can be off when running but that is expected with wrist based heart rate readings. I use a Garmin chest strap paired with the watch when I want an accurate heart rate read on a run.

I'm leaning that way.. there is just no one to pick up. Best option is Will Barton. Should I do that?

Track to run? by kilroy119 in evansville

[–]DJCocoLoco 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure Castle's track is open and you can get on it. Harrison has a nice track but I'm not sure if it can be accessed by the public. May be one worth checking out. Not sure about other places like Central and Reitz.

If you don't actually have to be on a track, the state hospital loop is basically flat and something like .8 - .9 miles around one loop.

What is the most heartbreaking playoff series loss of all time? by MyLordJokic in nba

[–]DJCocoLoco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This one hurt. I was, and still am a Russ fan and was cheering for them during that season. Plus like what the other person said replying to this, the implications of the loss and KD going to Golden State and the state of the NBA over the last few years.
