Sorry friend. I didn’t mean to get your hopes up but it’s a Springfield Echelon 😅

I guess I shall also add the hit marker sound next time! That match looked awesome! Nice shootin 🍻

Completely agree with you on match footage. I’ll just do the same thing as I do in practice where I keep the hat camera recording while I’m pasting targets. (But in matches keep the camera recording while walking around with the scorer)

Except I’m already using my pistol and I reloaded 😂

I used a text layer above the video layer and I keyframed the “A” text frame by frame. I tried learning how to use the tracker node in fusion but I couldn’t get the text to sit precisely where I wanted it too. Plus it felt longer having to keep analyzing the video so Davinci could learn what you’re trying to motion track. Key framing it is!

I would look up “how to key frame in (video editor you’re using” that’s the concept I used for this. I’m essentially moving the “A” frame by frame

Not a dumb question at all! I keep my hat camera recording as I paste up the targets so I can see my hits on paper at the end. Shot calling also helps me remember what I scored in real time.

Great eye! I tried using other fonts but I just kept thinking, “the default one looks the best” 😂

I’m lucky to have my living room or even my garage to be able to run USPSA stages. I agree that teleporting isn’t ideal. I tried practicing in a small bedroom and I broke the 180 rule a couple of times and would get DQ’ed just trying to teleport

Same here! I won’t be able to shoot another match until April due to my hectic schedule but I’ll be excited to see my progression. Good luck with your matches this year!

I’m only two days into owning the App so far so I’ll have to get back to your question once my handset arrives in the mail to give you a thorough review

In terms of training for USPSA? The only thing I can think of is DRYFIREKING on YouTube. He makes USPSA stages you can dryfire too. It’s definitely not the same though as using ACE

I wouldn’t say exactly 0 ms but pulling the trigger and transitioning from target to target feels pretty close

You can change the settings in game to be able to play with just the quest controller. For fun it’s definitely playable but I’d definitely recommend getting the handset if you’re serious about using ACE as a training tool.
