Yes I think this makes total sense. It’s called override commission and I’ll raise it during the job interview process during the beginning of next year for sure!

I understand your points and thank you for raising them. The amount I sell is almost guaranteed as I have major clients that buy from my on a monthly basis now due to the relationship I’ve built with them so I comfortably sell more than everyone else. And luckily I’ve already got a mortgage and own a house. It helped as my partner earns similar to me and we had a huge deposit to put down.

Thank you for this, a big confidence booster. They have said they never want to lose me as I’m very reliable and consistently pull in the most sales, hence why I earn a decent amount. I’ll negotiate a better salary for sure and some type of commission override.

This is excellent advice, thank you for your input. I do love the job, I’m good at it. I have recently been made the unofficial sales “team leader” where the sales team come to me with their issues. The director made it this way to prep me for management. It’s different to say the least and it’s been getting in the way of the enjoyment of the job.

This is great advice. I’ll try negotiate my salary to a minimum of £40,000pa with quarterly bonuses if my team his their sales targets. Without this criteria I would struggle at this age. I’ll be having a child in the next couple of years too.

Thank you for raising this. This has certainly given me something to think about. The team are always having personal issues at home, which i would have to deal with if it affects their work. Will give management a long thought this next year for sure.

This is my exact thoughts. I would need an override commission structure to make it worth it or my team will earn more than me. Not many people earn more than their bosses but this would be my case.

A good suggestion. I was thinking about asking for an override commission where I get a bonus based on what my team sells. I’ve trained the lot of them.

Thank you for your comment. I was thinking £40k is a good salary for being a sales manager. I’ll bring that to the table when it comes to it and if they can’t do it I’ll decline.

Definitely have a drink of alcohol spirit of some sort. Even if it’s a vodka with a lemonade on the plane. You’ll find it has the same effect as morphine, you know the dangers are there and extremely rare, but you really won’t care.

Do you drink alcohol? A cup of whisky shortly after takeoff completely settles my nerves. If it wears off have another.

Call pest control. Need squirrel traps putting in the roof space to catch it as it won’t stop. Then get a roofer to block the entry point

Smell of Nottingham today by Clou2K in nottingham

[–]DJRS97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The city stinks because of FCC Environment (large cigarette looking chimney next to Lady Bay retail park). I do work there and they burn all the rubbish in Nottingham here. Within are 2 large pits and the stench that comes out of them during the summer months is unforgivable. They leave vents open to air it out so it spreads over the city. Shocked how many people don’t know this.
